Lanco Integrated is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our growing team. Our Mechanical Technician assist in building custom assembly automation from the ground up, working with cutting edge equipment and technology across a broad range of industries. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm.

Mechanical Technician Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing during all phases of our build process
  • Participate in the concepting and implementation of design changes during assembly and system debug
  • Prototype and test solutions from engineering prior to release
  • Perform root cause analysis during debug of systems
  • Review station cycle times and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Maintain accuracy of system bill of materials, detail drawings, station descriptions, and I/O designations
  • Apply geometric tolerancing and dimensioning to existing or new detail drawings
  • Use various Measurement System Analysis tools including Gauge R&R and Capability studies
  • Travel to customer facilities, supporting system installations and service calls is required

Mechanical Technician Qualifications:
  • Experience in mechanical / electrical field or 3-5 years direct work experience preferred, but not required
  • Proper use of hand and power tools
  • Machining skills and experience (i.e. mill, lathe, grinder) is a plus but will train the right individual
  • Familiar with purchasing and materials processes including completing BOM change forms and other ISO documentation
  • Familiar with reading assembly and component drawings, engineering processes and documentation
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 or more pounds
  • Occasional reaching, stretching, and pulling overhead
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, or crouching
